After trying to decide which Towns to include using several different metrics, I decided that I was better off choosing by hand which towns to include. Maine Towns are special for many reasons, and I wanted to showcase a diverse group of towns from all around the state. Call it arbitrary, but I call it 52 of the most culturally significant towns in Maine. Same for the Lakes & Islands deck! (Although I did only include islands with a year-round population, and heavily favored the larger lakes of Maine.)
